Your privacy, clearly explained

1 Introduction

CardCraft ("we", "our", "us") is a greeting card creation application available on Android and iOS. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and your rights regarding your personal data.

By downloading or using CardCraft, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2 Information We Collect

• Google Account Information — When you sign in using Google Sign-In, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. We do not receive or store your Google password.
• Card Content — Text you type into greeting card fields (names, dates, messages, venue details etc.) is stored to enable the card history and save features.

• Device Information — Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and app version.
• Usage Data — Which templates you view, which features you use, how long you spend in the app, and crash/error logs.
• Subscription Data — Whether you are a Guest, Free, or Pro user; subscription status, purchase date, and renewal date. We do not store your payment card details — all payments are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store.

3 How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your CardCraft account
• Display and personalise greeting card templates
• Save your card creation history (registered users only)
• Process and verify your Pro subscription status
• Show advertisements to Guest and Free users (not to Pro users)
• Allow you to download, share, and export greeting cards
• Improve app performance, fix bugs, and add new features
• Send important service-related notifications (e.g. subscription renewal reminders)
• Comply with legal obligations

4 User Tiers & Data Handling

CardCraft operates three user tiers, each with different data handling:

Guest users are not required to create an account. However, they cannot download cards, share cards, or save card history unless a rewarded-ad unlock is explicitly offered for that card. If a guest user taps a locked template or attempts to download, they are shown a sign-in prompt.

5 Account Creation & Deletion

You create a CardCraft account by signing in with your Google account. We receive only your name, email address, and profile picture from Google.

You have the right to delete your account at any time:

1. Open CardCraft
2. Go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account
3. Confirm deletion

Upon deletion, we permanently delete your account profile (name, email, profile picture), your complete card creation history, and all saved card data.

We may retain anonymised, non-identifiable usage statistics after deletion for analytics purposes.

6 Subscriptions & Payments

CardCraft Pro is our paid subscription tier, available in monthly and yearly plans, that provides HD download with no watermark, access to all premium templates, shareable card links, priority access to newly added templates, and complete removal of all advertisements.

CardCraft Pro is available in monthly and yearly plans. Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR), are inclusive of applicable taxes, and may vary by region.

• Subscriptions are billed through Google Play (Android) or the Apple App Store (iOS)
• Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
• You will be charged through your Google Play or Apple ID account upon purchase confirmation

• You may cancel your subscription at any time through Google Play or the App Store
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain Pro access until then
• We do not offer refunds for partially used subscription periods except where required by law
• Refund requests should be directed to Google Play or the Apple App Store, who process all payments

If a free trial is offered, it will be clearly stated at the time of subscription. Unused portions of a free trial are forfeited upon purchase of a paid subscription.

7 Advertisements

Guest and Free users may choose to watch a rewarded video advertisement (approximately 30 seconds) to temporarily unlock one premium template for a single use. This is entirely optional, user-initiated, and does not grant ongoing Pro benefits.

Where available, eligible users may also watch a rewarded ad to unlock one-time watermark-free download for the current card only. This unlock is temporary and per-action, not a Pro entitlement.

We use Google AdMob to serve advertisements. AdMob may use your device advertising ID and usage data to show relevant ads.

• Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalisation
• iOS: Settings → Privacy → Apple Advertising → Personalised Ads (off)

8 Templates & Intellectual Property

All greeting card templates available in CardCraft are either original designs created exclusively for CardCraft, or commercially licensed designs obtained under valid commercial licences from reputable third-party design resource providers. We do not use unlicensed, pirated, or copyright-infringing designs. All template assets are either original works or used under appropriate commercial licences that permit use within mobile applications.

Free templates are available to all registered users at no cost. Guest users can access the first 5 free templates without signing in.

• Only accessible after an active Pro subscription is verified
• Cannot be downloaded, shared, or exported by Guest or Free users
• May be temporarily unlocked one at a time by Free and Guest users by watching a rewarded advertisement (30 seconds), which grants single-use access only
• Subject to the same commercial licence restrictions as all other templates

When you create a greeting card using CardCraft, the resulting card image belongs to you for personal and non-commercial use.

The CardCraft name, logo, app design, user interface, original templates, and all original content are owned by DK Apps Studio and are protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

Cards downloaded by Free (registered) users include a CardCraft watermark. You may not remove, obscure, or alter this watermark. Pro subscribers receive watermark-free downloads.

CardCraft may offer one-time watermark-free download via rewarded ad on eligible cards. This does not grant permanent watermark-free rights.

9 Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:

• Google (Firebase, AdMob, Sign-In) — for authentication, cloud storage, and advertising as described above
• Payment processors (Google Play, Apple App Store) — for subscription billing
• Legal requirements — if required by law, court order, or governmental authority
• Business transfer — if CardCraft is acquired or merged, your data may be transferred to the new owner under the same privacy protections

10 Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), Firebase Security Rules to restrict access to your personal data, and no storage of payment card details on our servers. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11 Children's Privacy

CardCraft is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@cardcraft.co.in and we will delete it promptly.

12 Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction — request correction of inaccurate personal data
• Deletion — request deletion of your personal data (see Section 5.2)
• Portability — request your data in a portable format
• Objection — object to processing of your data for certain purposes

13 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you through the app or by email. Your continued use of CardCraft after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
